Scenic Gravel Ride: C+ Group
About this event
Description: Beautiful, scenic, and fun route includes dirt, gravel, paved roads, mostly low traffic with fresh air, horse farms, opulent mansions and moderate hills, not real steep or technical. Aiming for 11-12 mph overall average pace with C+ effort, will regroup as needed, no drop. Gravel bike, fat tire hybrid or rigid MTB with fat knobbies would work great. ***Road bike NOT recommended or fun on this terrain***. Rest stop not planned, suggest bringing a snack and hydration, could buy around the halfway point. No rest rooms.
Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee that there will still be snow on the side of the road this Sunday, but the scenery will definitely be greener!
