About this event
Description: Join our club members on the first leg of the five-day cycling journey to Montreal! This will be a one-way ride departing Newark City Hall to Cold Spring, NY for just over 60 miles, so you must have the required fitness to complete the ride (feel free to turn off earlier for the distance of your choice). Michael will lead the group to the Cold Spring train station.
Cyclists heading to Montreal will continue for approx. 10 miles to the Day 1 destination of Fishkill, NY.
At Cold Spring, Metro-North train service to Grand Central Terminal is available at 20 min. after every hour (90-min travel time + $15.25 fare). You must transfer to a second train (NJ Transit/PATH) on the West Side of Manhattan to return to New Jersey.

COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.
REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive. This helps to quicken the check in process.

Please be sure to wear your club kit, bring your helmet, a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, bike pump, cell phone and a pleasant attitude.
Front and rear lights are recommended for this ride.
