New Hope Ride 2024



Description: Registration for the 2024 New Hope Ride is open!! Once again we have a full slate of activities including the Meet And Mingle Social on Friday evening and Social Ride with an optional Hill Climb Challenge and Post-Ride Picnic on Saturday afternoon. SPECIAL NOTES:
Hybrids or Mountain bikes are NOT ALLOWED for the 122 and 75 routes.

2024 routes have been updated. DO NOT rely on routes from 2023 or earlier you have saved on your device.

Ride Location: Mulberry Commons, Newark, NJ (located directly across from Prudential Center)

Meet/Registration Time: 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Roll Out Time: 7:30 AM at Newark City Hall on Broad Street

Ride Category: Choose your route!

Parking Instructions: Specific instructions for parking details will be made available on the event website.

Cancellations: Check the MTCCNJ Rides & Activities WhatsApp chat group (members only) for last minute updates or the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey private Facebook Group, for everyone else.

COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.  

REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive. This helps to quicken the check in process.

Please be sure to wear your club kit, bring your helmet, a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, bike pump, cell phone and a pleasant attitude.

Front and rear lights are recommended for this ride. The ride will NOT take place in rain or wet roads

- Avoid touching other riders
- Practice safe distancing at all times (6' rule)
- Bring your own hand sanitizer
