Description: A MTCCNJ tradition for a short New Year's Day spin.  Weather permitting, we will meet at 9:30 AM from the Somerville Starbucks and head west bound riding through the quiet country roads of Somerset and Hunterdon County.

If needed, there is a marked bathroom stop (Speedway) at approx. 14 miles in Three Bridges.

Parking Instructions: Free and Paid parking is available, Municipal Lot 4 (Union and South Street)

: Check the MTCCNJ Rides & Activities WhatsApp chat group (members only) for last minute updates or the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey private Facebook Group, for everyone else.

COVID-19: 
To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.  

REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive. This helps to quicken the check in process.

Registration is required
Please be sure to wear your club kit, bring your helmet, a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, bike pump, cell phone and a pleasant attitude.

Front and rear lights are recommended for this ride. The ride will NOT take place in rain or wet roads

Safety is our priority:
- Wear face covering/mask
- If you are sick, please stay home
- Avoid touching other riders
- Practice safe distancing at all times (6' rule)
- Bring your own hand sanitizer
