Ride Description
The Classic Is Back!! From its inception in 1985, the Philadelphia Cycling Classic has gone by many names, but its spirit has always been the same. This professional cycling race attracts world-class athletes to compete on a picturesque circuit through our historic city. It brings hundreds of thousands of spectators together, whether from other countries or just down the block. The Philadelphia Cycling Classic, presented by AmeriGas, is a historic race that’s here to stay. Let’s meet at the Metropark Train Station in Woodbridge park and cycle down to Philadelphia to watch the Pro Men race which begins at noon. I picked this location as it will serve as a convenient way to take the train back from Philly. The route will cover 67 miles with 1500 ft of climbing. Philly MTCC will likely meet us just outside of Trenton and cycle back with us to Logan Square which is the start/finish line of the race.
