A New Season


1st ride

DescriptionThis 1st club ride of the season is a social ride. The group will have many levels of riders but the purpose is to come together and reconnect after being away from the group since October. Let's show up ready to roll by the posted departure time.  If you are late the peloton will roll without you.  

We depart the Dunellen Train Station heading south to PJ's Pancake House in Kingston, for a quick stop. Heading back north via Johnson Park.  


UPDATED OPTIONS:  We now offer 2 routes for the ride. 28 miles and pancake flat or the 44 miles with 1K elevation. Both options depart at 9:30am, promptly.

Meet Time: 9:00AM    Roll out Time: 9:30AM

Parking Instructions:  Parking at the Train Station is not a problem on the weekends.


Cancellations
: Check the MTCCNJ Rides & Activities WhatsApp chat group (members only) for last minute updates or the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey private Facebook Group, for everyone else.

COVID-19: 
To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.  

REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive. This helps to quicken the check in process.

Please be sure to wear your club kit, bring your helmet, a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, bike pump, cell phone and a pleasant attitude.

Front and rear lights are recommended for this ride. The ride will NOT take place in rain or wet roads

Safety is our priority:
- Wear face covering/mask
- If you are sick, please stay home
- Avoid touching other riders
- Practice safe distancing at all times (6' rule)
- Bring your own hand sanitizer
