Description: Join us as we celebrate Juneteenth in Washington, DC for the 1st Major Taylor Regional Ride. DCC, MTCCDMV and MTCCVA will host this inaugural event where members from all of the Major Taylor clubs will gather in DC for the main event ride on Saturday followed by a recovery ride on Sunday.
Sunday Day 2: This is the recovery ride. No cost for this ride. Ride details will be shared soon

The registration fee for this event is $25 with discount code MajorTaylor1899. The registration fee to will cover:

This is a challenging route that is in the street and outlines the District of Columbia
6:00 - 6:45am: Packet Pickup (to include: Juneteenth RoadID Bib, Lunch Tear Off, Juneteenth Commemortive Medal, DMV Tourist Iinfo)

This is a moderate route that is mostly on a trail.

Each route will have multiple ride leaders to guide Major Taylor Cyclists around DC and Lake Artemesia regrouping at Hains Point. This will give cyclists the opportunity to ride a few laps around the infamous Hains Point Fight Club Loop (occurs Tuesday afternoon at 12pm) before parading through the city, hitting the MLK Memorial and Black Lives Matter Plaza.
The DMV Regional Committee (DCC, MTCCDMV, MTCCVA) has secured park permits, police escorts, SAG support, rest stop refreshments and restrooms.
