Empanada Ride: B & C Groups



Description: There will be two ride options heading out from Parsippany to the Great Swamp. Ride leaders will regroup at the top of climbs and major turns. Both ride options will have a quick coffee break at the 25 mile mark. At the conclusion of the ride, we’ll be greeted with the internationally known Nuchas Empanadas courtesy of MTCCNJ club member Ariel Barbouth. Please be sure to review and download the correct route of your choice.

Please wear the Ocean kit (if available) or another club kit!

Distance/Elevation: 50 miles/2,225 feet (B route)
                                  38 miles/1,340 feet (C route)

Ride Location: Cycle Craft Bicycle Center, Parsippany, NJ 07054

Meet Time: 8:30 AM    Roll out Time: 9:00 AM

Ride Category: B/C (groups will be formed at the start of the ride)

Parking Instructions:  Park in the Cycle Craft bike center parking lot.

Cancellations: Check the MTCCNJ Rides & Activities WhatsApp chat group (members only) for last minute updates or the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey private Facebook Group, for everyone else.

COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.  

REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive. This helps to quicken the check in process.

Please be sure to wear your club kit, bring your helmet, a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, bike pump, cell phone and a pleasant attitude.

Front and rear lights are recommended for this ride. The ride will NOT take place in rain or wet roads

- Avoid touching other riders
- Practice safe distancing at all times (6' rule)
- Bring your own hand sanitizer
