New Hope Ride
We meet at City Hall Newark for this Premier Club Ride. You have 3 rider options: 115 miles, 66 miles or 50 miles. You must register for the 114 mile option to get bragging rights that you have completed the New Hope Ride!
The full 115-mile course is NOT a ride for EVERYONE! The first 25 miles of the ride is easy. The miles after heading south to New Hope can get hot and spicy! If you choose the 50 mile route, the course is a typical 50 mile C category pace (13-15mph).
ALL RIDERS starting in Newark must be able to ride 25 miles without a rest stop. The 1st rest stop leaving Newark is Johnson Park-Grove 5 in Piscataway.

SPECIAL NOTE: Hybrids or Mountain bikes are NOT ALLOWED for the 115 and 66 routes.

Cancellations: Check the MTCCNJ Rides & Activities WhatsApp chat group (members only) for last minute updates or the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey private Facebook Group, for everyone else.
COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.
REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive. This helps to quicken the check in process.
