Description: ***Please read the following details carefully***

An opportunity to "Try the Track" in a private setting at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center aka T-Town Velodrome. Among the topics covered in Try The Track - Course 1: etiquette and safety, important skills about riding in a group, what the lines on the track mean, and how to stop. This program focuses on skills and drills to make new riders comfortable and confident in their ability to ride the track safely.

Registration via BikeReg is $50 per person. Use of track bikes is included in the entry fee and all bikes are equipped with flat pedals and toe straps. Riders are permitted to use their own road pedals and shoes if they wish. If riders have their own track bikes, they are welcome to use them. Please note staff WILL NOT be available to service your own track bike, so please be certain the bike is properly maintained and rideable.

All participants are REQUIRED to bring and wear a helmet at all times while on the bike.

IMPORTANT - This event will only occur if the track is dry. If it is canceled due to weather, only the course cost is refundable but NOT the BikeReg fees.

COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.

All riders must register via BikeReg and bring a helmet to be worn at ALL TIMES.

Please be sure to wear your club kit, bring your helmet, a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, bike pump, cell phone and a pleasant attitude.

Front and rear lights are recommended for this ride. The ride will NOT take place in rain or wet roads

- Practice safe distancing at all times (6' rule)
