Description: If you are feeling charitable this Thanksgiving season, we invite you to join us as we cycle to purchase turkeys and deliver to charities that service the communities throughout Newark.  

 Not able to make the ride? We invite you to make a $20 donation or no less than $5 to help those families that are less fortunate this holiday season. You can always donate your time by volunteering to drive the vehicle to transport the Turkeys for those that are unable to carry while cycling.

The ride will start and end in Millburn. We will cycle to ShopRite on Springfield Avenue in Newark to purchase the turkeys and make 5 delivery stops in the community.

After all deliveries have been made, we'll return to Millburn to complete the 22-mile route where we hope you will join us for hot beverages at Rock 'N' Joe.

Meet-up Time: 8:00 AM    Roll-out Time: 8:30 AM

Parking Instructions: Park in the spaces facing the street.

Cancellations: Check the MTCCNJ Rides & Activities WhatsApp chat group (members only) for last minute updates or the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey private Facebook Group, for everyone else.

COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.  

REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive.

Please be sure to wear your club kit, bring your helmet, a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, bike pump, cell phone and a pleasant attitude. Face covering is required. We will practice social distancing at all times.
