Great Swamp Coffee Ride: B/C+ Groups



Description: ***5/20/2023 - route update, please sync to your device*** The ride will start from Brookdale Park and then head to Eagle Rock reservation via Gates Ave. through the Eagle Rock Switchbacks, the South Mountain Reservation, and to the
beautiful flats of the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. We will break for coffee at the Green Village Deli.

Distance/Elevation: 53 miles/2,190 feet

Ride Location: Brookdale Park, Bloomfield, NJ

Meet Time: 8:00 AM   Roll out Time: 8:30 AM

Ride Category: B/C+

Parking Instructions:  Enter the Park at Watchung Ave. and use the first parking lot on the left.

Cancellations: Check the MTCCNJ Rides & Activities WhatsApp chat group (members only) for last minute updates or the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey private Facebook Group, for everyone else.

COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.  

REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive. This helps to quicken the check in process.

Please be sure to wear your club kit, bring your helmet, a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, bike pump, cell phone and a pleasant attitude.

Front and rear lights are recommended for this ride. The ride will NOT take place in rain or wet roads

- Practice safe distancing at all times (6' rule)
