Description: The training ride will stay in Branch Brook Park. We will practice basic riding skills, bike functions, maintenance, and discuss nutrition.

Requirements: helmet, water bottles, power bar/gel (optional), and front/rear bike light (optional)

Distance/Elevation: Under 20 miles

Ride Location: Branch Brook Park, Newark, NJ (enter at Heller Parkway & Branch Brook Park Drive)

Meet Time: 7:00 AM    Roll out Time: 7:30 AM

Ride Category: Beginner

Cancellations: Check the MTCCNJ Rides & Activities WhatsApp chat group (members only) for last minute updates or the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey private Facebook Group, for everyone else.

COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.  

REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive. This helps to quicken the check in process.

Special NOTE: Please confirm your attendance by registering. No text messages to the ride leader after 7:00AM - Calls Only!
