Turkey Community Service Ride



Description: It's that time again!! Join MTCCNJ as we purchase turkeys and deliver them to charities that serve the communities throughout Newark. We will cycle to ShopRite on Springfield Avenue in Newark to purchase the turkeys and make our delivery stops in the community.

Not able to make the ride? We invite you to make a donation (minimum $20) to help those who are less fortunate this holiday season.

The ride will start and end in Millburn. We will cycle to ShopRite on Springfield Avenue in Newark to purchase the turkeys and make our delivery stops in the community. After all deliveries have been made, we'll return to Millburn to complete the 22-mile route where we hope you will join us for hot beverages at Rock 'N' Joe. 

Ride Location: Millburn Free Public Library, Millburn, NJ

Meet-up Time: 8:00 AM    Roll-out Time: 8:30 AM

Parking Instructions: Park in the spaces facing the street.

Cancellations: Check the MTCCNJ Rides & Activities WhatsApp chat group (members only) for last minute updates or the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey private Facebook Group, for everyone else.

COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.  

REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive.

Please be sure to wear your club kit, bring your helmet, a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, bike pump, cell phone and a pleasant attitude. Face covering is required. We will practice social distancing at all times.
